Warm, Spiced, Night-time Milk

This drink is amazing. Seriously. In addition to tasting AMAZING, when I drink this milk before bedtime, I feel like I’ve taken an ambien. The milk and ghee are warm and heavy and perfect for a before bed time drink, plus the nutmeg acts as a sedative. For best results, drink about 15 minutes before bedtime.

Warm, Spiced, Night-Time Milk

Servings: 1

Ingredients:

  • 6-8 ounces of Organic, Grass-Fed, Whole Milk
  • 1/4 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp Cardamom
  • 1/4 tsp Nutmeg
  • 1/2-1 tsp ghee (I use Fourth & Heart Vanilla Ghee)Instructions:
    1. Put milk in a pan over high heat
    2. Stir in spices/ghee
    3. Bring to a boil 3 times (when it boils take it off for a few seconds, then put it back on the burner until it boils again. Repeat until it has boiled 3 times. This helps the milk become more digestible).
    4. Let cool, and enjoy!
