This vegan oyster sauce is the most perfect stir fry sauce I’ve ever tasted. Lots of flavor, can use with a variety of dishes, plus it’s vegan!
Finally. An all vegan stir fry sauce. I love going out to eat but sometimes it’s so difficult to find vegan or vegetarian options. This recipe is originally based off of a recipe that I found at Full of Plants. I was going to use it for another recipe but I ended up not having any mushroom powder. Since I kind of have an aversion to mushrooms anyway, I decided to try something a little different. To get that rich, deep umami taste I decided to substitute the mushrooms for miso paste! It definitely worked wonderful!
This vegan version of oyster sauce only has 5 simple ingredients and only takes a few minutes to make. Very quick and easy and it literally goes with almost everything. Add it to almost anything! From simple stir fry’s to more complex dishes!
