These Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies are a chocolate lover’s dream!
These are the most delicious, amazing cookies that I have ever had. Seriously (and I’ve had a lot of cookies!). The secret to getting this amazing depth of chocolate flavor is by using dutch process cocoa powder. It’s a game changer. The first time I used dutch process cocoa powder I swore I’d never use the “normal” kind ever again. It has such a rich chocolate flavor that’s really hard to beat.
Anyway, every time I make these cookies at home they disappear in no time. With baking season coming up, now is the time to try these for yourself!

How to Make Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
- Place the butter and the sugar in a large bowl and using either a hand mixer or stand mixer, cream together on medium high for 3 minutes.
- After 3 minutes, place the egg and the vanilla extract in the bowl and continue to cream together for 7 more minutes (creaming for this long is key to the mixture being light and fluffy).
- While the butter and sugar are creaming, combine the dry ingredients together and whisk until everything is evenly distributed.
- When the 7 minutes is up add in the dry ingredients and on low speed, mix until just combined.
- Fold the chocolate chips into the dough and keep folding until they are evenly mixed in and everything is combined.
- Using a small cookie scoop, or your hands, place balled dough onto a baking sheet with the dough being at least 1.5 inches apart.
- Bake for 8 minutes.
- Take the cookies out of the oven, let sit on baking sheet for about 1-2 minutes and then transfer to a cooling rack.
- Let cool, and enjoy!!
