This key lime pie smoothie has quickly become a favorite of mine. This is actually the first smoothie recipe that I came up with on my own and I’ve been excited to share it! It’s perfect for summer when it’s hot outside!
What’s Inside?
- Frozen Bananas– This gives the smoothie a nice thick creamy consistency. If you don’t have frozen bananas on hand add some ice.
- Lime Juice– Fresh squeezed is the best!
- Yogurt– You can use any kind of yogurt you would like. I’ve been using cashew yogurt lately and it’s very good!
- Honey– Add honey to taste.
- Vanilla Protein Powder– My favorite brand is Vega, the taste is excellent for adding to smoothies!
- Spinach
- Matcha– I like to add this for color.
- Milk– Any milk will work!
- Coconut Whip Cream– Optional, but DEFINITELY adds in an extra tropical flavor!
Equipment Used:
- High Speed Blender
- Rubber Spatula
- Large, 32 oz cold cup
