Cookie dough yogurt is a high protein snack that’s GREAT for after a workout or if you’re trying to make a quick snack!
I’ve been making this recipe as an after workout snack for a few years now. I originally found it on Pinterest some years ago. I’ve changed it a little bit from the original recipe, and in my opinion it tastes a little bit more like cookie dough than the first.
I think the different flavor of the almond butter vs the peanut butter make a huge difference. Also I swapped out the honey for maple syrup and it created a richer deeper flavor that was more “cookie” like.
Potential Health Benefits:
- Both greek yogurt and almond butter is a great source of protein.
- Semi-sweet chocolate chips contains antioxidants and is also good for heart health.
- Maple Syrup also contains a lot of antioxidants.
- Maple Syrup is a great alternative to regular white sugar.
